Amazing property and host!
The house is an updated village home with modern amenities and historic charm. Everything was better than the photos. We stayed with our son’s family with two of our grandchildren.
New Year gathering for four 60 something couples
This house is just gorgeous! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, warm and cosy yet very spacious. We all loved it.The owner, Mary and Rachel who looks after the house are both very helpful and responsive. The house is well maintained and equipped with everything you need to self cater. I can’t recommend this property highly enough.
Winter weekend break
Beautiful house, tastefully modernised and furnished, with stunning garden in a quiet and unspoilt village cul de sac near to the church. We were extremely comfortable, communication was excellent, friendly and responsive. We were greeted with a box of chocs and a bottle of wine plus milk and essentials like tea and coffee, oil, vinegar, seasonings, which was really lovely. The house was spacious but warm , plenty of room for us, 4 ensuite bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen and separate dining room. Living room and dining room had wood burners for logs, which were very useful on a chilly weekend. Beds were really comfortable, beautiful crisp linens and well equipped with storage space. The only (really minor) negative was lack of shampoo/shower gel, which we assumed would have been included. Fresh soap was available in each bathroom, though, and all else was in plentiful supply. Highly recommended. Plenty to keep us occupied, books and DVDs etc in good supply. Bring: Matches for the fire, (couldn’t find any), board games, shampoo and shower gel. Thank you very much for a lovely weekend.
Great place to stay
Teachers house is a great place to stay, it had all the facilities required for a family break. Cosy and warm with lots of Christmas decorations in the house. Would thoroughly recommend the property. Excellent communication beforehand and on the day of arrival.
The most perfect Cotswold retreat
We stayed with a group of friends. We were blown away by how beautiful and well equipped the house was. We loved every part of the house. Location perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend The Red Lion at Long Compton.

Friends get together
The house was great for time spent chatting over meals outside and in. We saw a play at rsc and enjoyed a lovely visit to Stratford . We also enjoyed broadway.

The property was excellent, we were in a group of eight family members, the property was extremely comfortable giving a relaxing atmosphere. Was very well equipped, the owners had thought of absolutely everything there is nothing more they could have provided. We were welcomed with chocolates and lovely bottle of wine. We all enjoyed every aspect of the property.
So comfortable and spacious
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every comfort was provided for, property super close to Moreton in Marsh and ease of booking to check out was seamless. Have been telling all my friends to check it out for themselves!
Lovely house, high standard accommodation
We stayed for a lovely weekend with friends. The house was furnished and fitted to a high standard, the photos don’t do it justice. The owners were good at communicating and accommodating, and the booking process easy. They were flexible about having children sleeping on the floor, and check in and out times as the house wasn’t booked directly before or after us.
Perfect for a group get together, with a very comfortable house and in a lovely area.
All we hoped it would be…
We had eagerly anticipated our stay at the Teacher House in the Cotswolds. Never know for sure what you will get when your only reference is the online pictures. Teacher House did not disappoint. Four couples shared the lovely space, with each couple having their own room and bathroom. The shared common spaces were very comfortable…especially the outdoor areas. (We were blessed with weather to use that space!) The location is perfect. We were able to visit many places with just a short drive…Stratford-On-Avon; Oxford; Chipping Campden; Stow-On-the Wold; Lower Slaughter, etc. The accommodations and location provided us with long-lasting memories of a special UK trip. A beautiful house to explore the cotswolds from.
We spent the weekend with friends in this house which was well equiped and in a quiet location.There was plenty of space and very comfortable, I would definately recommend staying here.
Great short weekend.
The Teachers House was great, really spacious and and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with great quality utensils and had everything we needed and more!
